Story Walkthrough
“Waylon Jones, AKA Killer Croc, was born with a terrible medical condition that has warped his body into reptilian form. Having turned against humanity, he possesses extraordinary strength and is immune to toxins.”

Area 1
This first section is pretty small and most of it is water. Eliminate the enemies here and destroy what little is left lying about. You can break the round grate at the back of the area without the use of explosive even though it looks like one that might require it. Assemble the build-it you find at the back and use the resulting suit changer to equip Robin’s Magnet Suit. Walk up the steel wall to the left of the platform in order to get on the platform. Activate the switch to lower the ladder so that Batman can access the Demolition Suit Changer on the opposite platform. Equip the Demolition Suit.
Hint: Every minute or so, two more goons will drop down from the ceiling.
Using the Demolition Suit, destroy the shiny gate to the right so you can continue onward. As you move into the next room you will be in a Score Multiplier area. Break the items here for some studs and you’ll notice there are quite a few studs floating out in the water here. You are welcome to jump in and get them but be wary of the two crocodiles that are here to make this task difficult. Get the studs and get out!
Strategy: You can’t punch while you are in the water, so there is nothing you can do to the crocs but run away.
When you are done collecting the studs from the water (you can’t get the ones on the bottom yet) move to the next room to the right. This room is very active. There are four enemies shooting at you from above and some running at you on the floor. Defeat the enemies on the floor first to keep them off of you and it will be much easier to use your Batarang to get the enemies that are up above shooting at you. When you have restored some peace, smash up everything in the room and on the right side near the water you’ll find a build-it that will create a turnstile. You must have Batman operate the turnstile. When he does, Robin will jump onto a nearby valve. When you have turned the turnstile as far as you can, quickly switch to Robin and jump onto the suit changer on the small platform to equip the Water Suit.
Tip: It is easy to get distracted in this room and miss seeing that valve entirely.
Jump down to the right of the Water Suit Changer to find the hostage for this mission being held in the corner.
We told you this could be easy to miss.
Return to the main area of the room and use the grapple on the left side of the water tanks to get up on top of them. Use the Water Suit to drop into the tank on the left and collect the studs down there. You can now walk through the tunnel to the right into the water tank on the right. Climb out of this water tank and assemble the build-it at the top of the ladder. You will have created a valve. Jump onto the valve several times to drain the water from both tanks.
The camera angle does something weird here and it can sometimes make it hard to maneuver.
With the water drained out you can switch to Batman and go to the shiny round door that is in the middle of the tunnel between the two water tanks. Use the Demolition Suit to destroy the door so you can access the next area of the mission.
All that work just to get to a door.
| Free Play Memorabilia In the very first area, just below and to the right of the Demolition Suit Changer is a tech panel. Use Robin’s Tech Suit to activate it and you will be in control of the little blue boat in the water. Drive the boat around to the open part of the water and drive it over each of the three buoys there. When you hit the buoys the lights on the top will turn green for a few moments. Turn all three of the lights green at the same time and the red Power Brick will be deposited onto the floor right in front of the gate. This brick unlocks “Sonic Pain”. In the large room with the water tanks, jump up onto the Water Suit Changer. Use Batman’s Glide Suit to glide to the right to the ledge over the spot where the hostage was earlier. When you are on this ledge, use Riddler to get past the security door and into the cage. Switch to a character that has super strength and is immune to toxic green goo such as Bane. Use the super strength to destroy the cage you find here and claim the canister that is inside it. As soon as you get up on the platform at the top of the grapple to get into the tanks, use a super jump character to grab the bar on the left just above the grapple. Use the bar to get up onto the small ledge to claim the canister there. |
Area 2
The next area seems quiet at first glance, so hop down and break up what you can in the lower area to claim some studs. Feel free to use Robin’s Water Suit to jump into the water and claim the studs on the bottom. The crocodiles seem to leave you alone on the bottom. When you have collected what you want, either return to where you came into this area and use the pipes on the wall, or swim around the little building and use the ladder. Either way, you want to end up on the roof of the building. Once you’re on the roof, fight off the enemies and then use the Demolition Suit to destroy the shiny grate on the wall. Assemble the build-it inside to create a grapple you can use to get up to the suit changers on the landing above. Use both suit changers and return to the roof.

Jump onto the pipes to the right of the roof and over to the platform with the steel plate on the wall. Use the Magnet Suit to walk across to the next roof. You’ll be attacked by three crocodiles but they can be easily dismissed with some quick punches. Conveniently enough, when you are done fighting the crocodiles, Batman will join you.
Dry crocodiles are much easier to deal with.
Step on one of the red buttons you find after smashing a few things and your partner will step on the other. This will make a platform come out of the wall beneath the steel plate you walked across to get here. Switch to Batman and return to the suit changers to reclaim the Demolition Suit. Come back to the roof with the buttons and use the Demolition Suit to destroy the shiny round grate here. Drop into this new hole to proceed to the next area.
You’re going even deeper underground!
| Free Play Memorabilia As soon as you enter this area, drop down to the lower platform and use a super strength character to move the large blue box that is blocking the doorway to the little building. Enter the building and use the Sonic Suit to break the glass around the display case in the middle of the room to claim the canister. On the platform above the roof with the two suit changers, use a super jump character to jump up onto the bar on the left side above Robin’s Magnet Suit Changer. From there, jump up onto the catwalk and walk around to the left. When your path is blocked by a pipe, use Batman’s Glide Suit to fly around and claim the canister on the other side. Use Robin’s Attract Suit to pick up all the Lego pieces lying (or floating) in this area. There are more than enough to activate the device twice if you search the entire area. Once you have all that you need or want, go to the last platform where you get attacked by the crocs near the pair of buttons. On the back wall there is a set of bars. Use the bars to jump up to the device in the alcove above and deposit your Lego pieces. The device will give you a little blue boat that you can ride off the edge into the water below. Drive the boat into the five buoys here so that all five of the lights are green at the same time and a canister will be dumped into the water from the large drainage pipe in the wall. |
Area 3
Follow the water around to the slope, being sure to destroy everything that will break to get more studs. Ignore the hallway with the toxic green goo because it will kill you. When you break some items in the corner you may reveal a couple of enemies to take care of. Slide down the slope and destroy the boxes you find there. Under the boxes you will find two small build-its which will place the missing gears on the sides of the slopes.
Some assembly required.
Use your Batarang to target the two valves on the other side of the large hole. When you’ve hit them the hole will fill with water so you can swim across. Beware of the crocodiles that enter the water about the same time that you do. On the other side of the water, assemble the small build-it to make a switch. Activate the switch and the slopes will have stairs you can use. Swim back across and go up the slope to the right.
You’ll have to slide back down the slope to get the studs in the middle of the right slope.
Clear the area of attackers and destroy the items in this immediate vicinity. Assemble the large build it to create a giant toilet. There isn’t anything you can do with it right now, but you can build it to claim the studs. Use the demolition suit on the shiny bars at the back to get to the high value studs inside.
Someone with a dry sense of humor created this build-it.
Go up the nearby stairs and break the items at the top. Assemble the small build-it you find to create a switch. Activate the switch and a valve further ahead will move and knock a box to the ground, leaving behind a build-it you will get to shortly. Before moving on, use the Demolition Suit to destroy the cage near the switch. Assemble the build-it that is left behind and you will get a rather lively fake crocodile. When it is done making its lap, jump on its back several times to make it spit out a bunch of studs. It will continue to spit studs until you finally jump on it and hear Joker laugh.
If you haven’t got Super Hero by now, this is a great place to get caught up.
When you have claimed all the studs you can, go back down the stairs and continue to the right. Switch to Robin and swim across the pool of water. On the other side of the water, assemble the build-it that was created when you flipped the switch by the fake crocodile. This will give you a steel wall to walk up. Go to the upper level and switch into the Water Suit.
With all this water, you’d think the steel stuff would rust.
Jump back down into the water you just swam across and activate the switch at the bottom of the pool. This will drain the pool and fill up the next, larger pool to the right, bringing the three covers off the bottom up so you can jump across to the other side.
All this will be worth it in just a couple of seconds.
Before going any farther, use the water suit to jump into the next pool and sink to the bottom. Underneath the third cover that floated up when you filled this pool you will find a canister.
The one and only piece of memorabilia you will find in this mission during Story Mode.
Once you have the canister, continue across the floating covers to the right to the last platform. There will be a handful of enemies here to disassemble. There appears to be a lot of things to do on this platform, unfortunately you can’t do any of them in story mode. For the time being, break everything you find here and be sure to look behind the bluish structure with the canister on it for some very high value studs as well as in the little alcove on the right side of the platform. You can assemble the two build-its you will find for the studs but you can’t do anything with the device it creates. When you have claimed what you want, climb the ladder near the water to move up to the fight with Killer Croc!
They really shouldn’t tease us with all this cool stuff!
| Free Play Memorabilia As soon as you enter this area, switch to a character that is immune to toxic green goo and go to the end of the hallway that is covered in it. Activate the switch to the right of the machine and a ladder will extend to allow you up to the landing above. Claim the studs and the canister that is waiting there for you. After you’ve gone up the slope and assembled the giant toilet, use a super strength character to slide the toilet closer to the platform to the right. Switch to a super jump character and claim the canister on top of the platform behind the pipe. After you have crossed the first pool of water, walk up the steel wall to get up onto the platform with the Water Suit Changer. Switch to Batman’s Demolition Suit and set onto the gray platform at the back of the area. Your partner will automatically step on the valve nearby and raise the platform up. Use the Demolition Suit to destroy the grate over your head and then jump up to claim the canister that is inside the tube. On the final platform before you leave for the boss fight, destroy everything and you’ll find two small build-its near the light blue structure at the back of the area. Assemble them to complete the structure and then switch to Joker. Use his joy buzzer to activate the green and purple device nearby and the yellow platform around the structure will start to rise and fall. Climb on the platform to ride to the top of the structure and claim the canister waiting there for you. |
Boss Fight: Crocodile Hunting
Killer Croc.
This fight is very simple and will go quite quickly as long as you watch your step. As soon as you arrive, Killer Croc will run right at you for an attack. Quickly beat a couple of hearts off of his health and he will retreat to the toxic green slime where you can’t get him.
Now that just isn’t fair!
When Croc gets into the toxic green goo, he will go to the tube at the back of the area and release some debris from above. With his super strength, he will throw this debris at you from the safety of the toxic green goo. Simply run around to avoid the objects as they come at you. Use this time to destroy the things you can for some more studs. When Croc has thrown three objects at you, he will come back out of the toxic green goo for another attack. When he does, simply beat him until he retreats again. Killer Croc will repeat this process two more times. When he comes out for the attack the third time you can then beat him into submission and complete the mission.
Now that wasn’t so bad.
