Walkthrough

The Flooding Cave

Let the flood water carry you out of the cave. You can come back to this section during Free Play mode to collect the first two treasure chests and Lego studs.

Free Play: To the right are a set of metal bars. Quickly destroy them in order to grab the first treasure chest before water fills the cave. You must outrun the water the entire way if you want the second treasure chest on the left side of the cave wall, near the exit to the cliffs.

The Cliffs
Your party will be split into two: Indy on the right side of the cliffs, and Short Round and Willie on the left side of the cliffs. Each party must solve their own set of puzzles in order to rejoin at the upper area.

Short Round and Willie will be on the left, Indy will be on the right.

Indy: Drop down and pick up the third treasure chest, then run to your right, and pull the lever to activate the lift. Jump off the lift, grab the vine, and climb near the top of the vine. Swing back and forth to create the momentum you need to grab the brown railing, then jump up to the stone platform. Run to the edge of this platform and select Short Round.

Free Play: After you have a small character, exit from the cubby hole into the small caged area, select a character with a shovel, dig at the shiny area on the ground, and the fourth treasure chest will appear.

Short Round: Run to the left, grab the vine, and climb all the way up. Jump off the vine to the right, enter the small cubbyhole and enter the small cave. Pick up the crank on the ground and re-enter the cubbyhole, appearing back at the stone platform. Insert the crank into the nearby device, and turn the crank to extend a small bridge above the waterfall, which allows Indy to join Willie and Short Round's location.

Short Round will exit here. Have him pick up the crank, and re-enter the cubby hole.

Select Indy, stand on the wooden platform, and use the whip to have the boulder drop near your location. Assemble the Lego parts from the remains of the boulder to create a set of brown railings. Jump up to these railings to get to the stone platform. Climb the rope hanging down from the ledge above, jump to the brown railing, then jump up to the ledge, and run to the next area.

Have Indy use his whip to pull the boulder down.

The Colored Skull Gates
When you're running through this first part, don't fall into the holes in the ground camouflaged by a few ferns. If you're looking for the fifth treasure chest, it's in one of the holes - the one emitting sunbeams. You can also pick up the sixth treasure chest sitting in the open before reaching the area full of totems. Once you arrive here, run behind the large rock on the ground to the left of this area to pick up the seventh treasure chest.

Don't fall into any of these spiky pits.

Free Play: There is a hieroglyphics wall near the spike holes. When the character with a translation book interprets the symbols, a series of skinny platforms will rise from ground. Jump from platform to platform and pick up the eighth treasure chest.

There are three grey totems in this area. Interact with in order to pick up a colored item, which you'll use to bring the colored skulls to the far right of the area, next to a large gate. To interact with the grey totems, equip Thuggees cap on each character. You can get these caps by defeating any Thuggees in this area.

Have Willie wear a Thuggee cab in order to obtain the green item (pictured.)

Have Willie jump up to the leftmost grey totem statue after she equips a Thuggee cap. Interact with the statue to have a green item. Carry it over to the colored skulls to the right of this area and put it in place. Two more items to go.

Have Indy walk over to the wooden square and then use his whip to pull the ladder down into place. With a Thuggee cap on, climb this ladder, and interact with the grey totem statue so a blue colored item will appear. Carry it over to the corresponding colored skull to the right of this area. One more item to go.

Short Round is the only one who can reach the grey totem statue on the right.

A shiny area on the ground is next to the wooden square that Indy stood on. You can find a shovel to the left of the colored skulls. Pick it up, dig in the shiny area, and a Lego object will pop out of the ground. Destroy this object to reveal a set of Lego parts. Assemble the parts to create a cubbyhole. Have Short Round equip a Thuggee cap, then climb through this cubbyhole to appear in front of another grey totem statue. Interact with the statue to have a red item appear. Carry this item to the colored skulls and put it into place.

Carry the colored items over to the colored skulls and match them up accordingly.

Now that all the colored items are in place by the colored skulls, the large gate will open up, allowing you into the next area.

Stone Pillars
Jump from pillar to pillar and reach the wooden platform. Have Indy use his whip here to pull the walkway into a bridge. You can jump on the pillar closest to the screen and pick up the ninth treasure chest. Navigate through the pillars by jumping on each of them to make your way near the walkway you pulled into place.

Pull the bridge down and into place.

From this platform, jump to your right and grab the brown railings. As Indy, jump from railing to railing, and have him swing across the ravine so he's next to the drawn bridge. Destroy the brown boulder attached to the bridge, and swing back across the ravine. As Short Round, jump over to the far right, enter the cubbyhole to exit next to the drawn bridge, and destroy the boulder for the bridge to drop into place. Cross the bridge.

After Indy destroys the boulder on the left side of the bridge, and then Short Round on the right side, the bridge will drop into place.

Free Play - Mail box location

Upon entering the next area detroy the plants immediately on your right and drop down into the hole underneath them. Use a digging character to dig up the parcel and then use a Bazooka caracter to blow up the silver wall to the left, this will reveal a sword which you need to throw at the cage to the right of the area. Place the two crates (which you will by now have uncovered) on the green platform and this will give you the pieces you need to build the mailbox.

To your left is a seemingly blank grassy area. But if you were to walk around this area, you'll sprout flowers -- but only for a short period of time. Have all the flowers sprouted to create a smiling face. Once that happens, the tenth treasure chest will appear.

Every character is needed to open the last gate leading out to the bridge.

To your right is a cubby hole obscured by bushes. Destroy the bushes so that Short Round can climb through this cubbyhole, jump from the cliff to the brown railing, shimmy across the railing, and jump to the rope hanging down the right side of the gate. Now, select Willie. Have her jump up, and grab the rope on the left side of the gate. Now, have Indy stand on the large skull on the ground to open the gate. Proceed through the gate to the bridge battle with Mola Ram.

Mola Ram Battle
What's different about this boss battle from any other battle is that you can't physically attack Mola Ram. Instead, your target is the four ropes holding the bridge in place. Destroy these ropes, and you'll destroy the bridge, and Mola Ram will fall to his death.

Fight the Thuggee's and pick up a sword from their defeated pieces.

To destroy the ropes, you must obtain a sword from the Thuggees on the bridge. Quickly pick up a sword from the ground after you've killed them, and Mola Ram will come up and hypnotize you. Immediately after this happens, you can target a rope and throw a sword at it.

Once you have a sword equipped, target the ropes on the bridges, and throw the sword.

Continue this pattern -- defeat a Thuggee, pick up their sword, get hypnotized by Mola Ram, and throw your sword at the rope on the bridge.

Treasure Chest Locations

Collect all of the chests to assemble the Ceremonial Headdress in the Barnett College Museum.
