Walkthrough

Assemble the Mine Cart
After defeating all the Thuggees, you must repair the mine cart rail in the middle of the area. Pick up the first part, a large rail, on the left side of the area. Pick it up, and place it on the broken mine cart rail. Get dynamite from the dynamite dispenser to the right of the broken rail by pulling the lever, and throw it at the small shiny patch on the ground next to the broken rail, revealing a batch of Lego parts. Assemble these parts to finish repairing the rail.

Bring parts over to the broken rail to repair it.

Mail Parcel Location: To the left of the rail is a hieroglyphics wall. Select a character with a deciphering book to interpret the symbols, revealing a secret passage. Walk into this secret area, select a character with a shovel, and dig at the shiny area on the ground. This will reveal the mail parcel. Pick it up, carry it over to the mail box to the right of the rail, and mail it off to have the Treasure x6 unlockable available for purchase from the Barnett College mailroom.

You can use dynamite from the dispenser to destroy the shiny metal piles.

Return to the dynamite dispenser and get another piece of dynamite. Throw it at the metal parts pile to the right of the dispenser to reveal a large pile of Lego pieces. Assemble these Lego piece to create a mine cart. Now repair it. Have Willie jump on top of the mine cart, and up to the stone platform. Climb the brown railings, and pick up the first treasure chest. Now, drop down to the second treasure chest on the walkway at the bottom of the screen. You can find the next one inside the small cave on the right side of this area. Select Willie and jump into the small cave, where you'll pick up the third treasure chest.

You can find a wrench on the ground next to the area where you'd repaired the mine car rail. Carry it back over to the mine cart and repair it. Now, push the mine cart all the way to the left most area until it locks into place.

Free Play: To the right of the crank is a cubby hole. Select a small character to crawl through the cubby hole. Climb out the grey totem statue. The fourth treasure chest will appear when Thuggee interacts with the statue.

Have Willie help bring Indy to the wooden catwalk.

Run over to the crank device with the brown platform at the lower left section of this area, and have Indy stand on this platform. Select either Willie or Short Round to turn the crank, raising the platform, allowing Indy to jump off of it. Jump up to the wooden platform. Have Indy swing across to the walkway near the mine carts, pull the lever extending a ladder, and then jump onto the small brown platform to the right of the ladder. Stay on this platform until it locks into place, raising the mine cart up.

Have all the characters standing on this pressure switch to bring the mine carts into place.

Drop down, run over to the right of where the mine carts are, and push the left most cart until it locks into place, starting a cut-scene.

Mine Cart Chase
The objective of the mine cart chase is to hit every control switch so a new track appears, which leads you deeper into the mines and out of the mines. Some of the switches will be on Indy's side of the track, and some on Willie and Short Round's side of the track. You must switch back-and-forth between the two character to hit the switches closest to their location.

Start your swing before reaching the switch, not when you're next to it.

At the top of the screen are a series of red dots. They will turn green after you hit one of the corresponding switches along the mine track. But here is where things get tricky. Each switch is on a timer (about 30 seconds) before they reset to red. If you don't turn all the dots green at the same time, you'll have to travel along the track all the way back to that switch in order to turn it green.

To illustrate the switch locations, we've put together a companion below where each of them is located. The images are placed in order so they match up to the dots at the top of the screen. For example, switch one is the far left dot, switch two is the middle dot, and switch three is the far right dot. The level will be completed when you finish the section.

Mine Cart Section 1

Switch to Indy's cart and swing at the first control switch.


You can use either Indy or Short Round's cart here, just make sure they lean towards the control switch when they swing.

The third switch is tricky, since it's on a quick turn. It's best you slow down when trying to hit this control switch. You can hold down on the left analog stick to slow your cart down.

Mine Cart Section 2

When passing through the waterfall, switch to Short Round's cart, and swing at the control switch on your right.


Stay with Short Round's cart, and be prepared to swing again at this control switch, before the short bend.


Have Indy hit this switch before the track begins to zig-zag.


Stay with Indy again, and have him his this control switch.


You can actually have Short Round hit this switch if he's leaning towards it when he swings.

Secrets

Treasure Chest Locations

Collect all of the chests to assemble the Pankot Diamond in the Barnett College Museum.

	Have Willie jump on top of the mine cart, and up to the stone platform. Climb the brown railings, and pick up the first treasure chest.
	Now, drop down to the second treasure chest on the walkway at the bottom of the screen.
	You can find the next one inside the small cave on the right side of this area. Select Willie and jump into the small cave, where you'll pick up the third treasure chest.
	To the right of the crank is a cubby hole. Select a small character to crawl through the cubby hole. Climb out the grey totem statue. The fourth treasure chest will appear when Thuggee interacts with the statue.
	You can find one of the treasure chests on the left rail in the second mine cart area.
?	Destroy the three enemy mine carts during the first mine cart section.
?	Destroy the three enemy mine carts in the second mine cart section.
?	In the first mine cart section, destroy the three overhead bunkers. After that, the treasure chest will appear between the tracks. Lean towards it to retrieve it.
?	During the second mine cart area, destroy the three overheard bunkers. One of the bunkers will be on an alternate track. You must hit the track-switch that will be on the left side of the track -- marked by a green light on the track -- in order for you to gain access to this bunker, and eventually, the treasure chest.
